Sonic Generation Health Suite 8+ is the first choice of many dentists and dental hygienists. Once you’ve used it, you won’t want to do without it again. Moisten the brush head with water and apply toothpaste. Put the brush in your mouth and place it at a slight angle, then press start. It is easiest to start with the back teeth and work your way forward. The toothbrush remembers the last mode selected and automatically starts in this mode when switched on (memory function). The cleaning mode can be changed within 3 seconds of switching on by pressing repeatedly.

Move the toothbrush from tooth to tooth in pressure-free up and down movements. Remain on the tooth for 3-5 seconds before moving on to the next one. Make sure that the longer bristles can penetrate well into the spaces between the teeth. For each of the four quadrants of the jaw, first run the toothbrush along the inside of the row of teeth, then along the chewing surface and finally along the outer surface. After 30-45 seconds, the change of jaw quadrant is signaled by a brief interruption in the oscillation.
Repeat the cleaning process for each quadrant. After the time has elapsed, the toothbrush switches off. You can continue brushing as required by switching the toothbrush on again.

Important: Do not apply any pressure to the toothbrush. Light surface contact along the rows of teeth leads to much better cleaning results and helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

The cleaning functions are selected by repeatedly pressing the button.

Sensitive mode

When SENSITIVE mode is selected, the top LED lamp (S) lights up. Sound waves with 42,000 movements per minute cause the bristle tips to vibrate gently and penetrate even the smallest tooth niches. This extremely gentle and efficient way of cleaning is gentle on tooth enamel, any exposed tooth necks and the gums. The SENSITIVE setting is recommended for people with sensitive teeth, periodontitis, implants, reconstructions and exposed tooth necks.

Active Deep mode

When ACTIVE DEEP mode is selected, the second LED lamp (A) lights up. The pressure waves of the sonic technology generate pulsating fluid flows that penetrate into narrow interdental spaces and remove harmful deposits even in concealed niches. This setting ensures optimum cleaning and keeps your teeth healthy. It is recommended as the basic setting for healthy teeth.

Whitening mode

When WHITENING mode is selected, the third LED lamp (W) lights up. Intensified wiping movements on the tooth surfaces have an increased cleaning effect in WHITENING mode. Discoloration is removed from the teeth. The WHITENING setting is particularly recommended in cases of discoloration caused by nicotine, wine, tea or coffee, as well as for occasional additional cleaning of the teeth.

Yoga mode

When YOGA mode is selected, the fourth LED lamp (Y) lights up. The Sonic Generation Health Suite supports you twice a day with breathing exercises. A good breathing rhythm has a direct influence on our well-being and bodily functions. For the exercise, Sonic Generation suggests the “4-4-8” cycle (inhale for 4 seconds – hold your breath for 4 seconds – exhale for 8 seconds). The area of a quadrant can be cleaned within this cycle. Interrupt the brushing movements while holding your breath and pausing the device for 4 seconds. The cycle is repeated 12 times according to the tooth surfaces to be cleaned before the appliance switches off automatically. Observe the safety instructions.

Pine quadrant timer

The jaw quadrant timer is an interval timer that briefly interrupts the brushing process and signals the recommended change of jaw quadrants. This allows each of the four sections of the mouth to be brushed thoroughly and evenly.

Toothbrush timer

According to dental recommendations, 2 minutes is the minimum cleaning time. After the recommended brushing time, which varies depending on the cleaning mode, the Sonic Generation® switches off automatically.

Travel lock

The travel lock prevents the appliance from being used unintentionally when traveling.

Locking the device

To lock the appliance, press the button for 3 seconds after all the lights on the display have gone out. The top light (S) lights up orange. The appliance is now protected against accidental switch-on.

Unlocking

To unlock the device, press the button again for 3 seconds. The top light (S) lights up orange. Alternatively, the toothbrush can also be placed on the charging station. This automatically unlocks the device.
