SLS-free: Foaming is an important part of a toothpaste’s activity. It helps to loosen stains and bacteria so that they can be removed from the teeth more easily. High-foaming formulations, on the other hand, can irritate the gums. That’s why we only use mild foaming agents in our edel+white toothpastes. This not only reduces irritation, but also creates a more compact foam without large bubbles.

Children 0-2 years: Use an amount the size of a grain of rice.

Children 2-6 years: Use a pea-sized amount for brushing teeth under supervision to minimize swallowing. If ingesting fluoride from other sources, consult a dentist or doctor.

The European Association of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD) recommends a toothpaste with a fluoride content of 500 to 1000 ppm and a dosage the size of a grain of rice for children from the first tooth. Later, between the ages of 2 and 6, the dosage can be increased to the size of a pea with a fluoride content of up to 1000 ppm.
