Returns and warranty claims

RETURNS / RETURN OF GOODS

Have you ordered the wrong item or does the product not meet your expectations? Products ordered from us can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of the goods. In principle, there is no statutory right of return in Switzerland. As a rule, buyers cannot withdraw from a normal purchase contract. However, we grant you a voluntary right of return.

If you would like to return the item, please inform us in advance by e-mail at retouren@careista.ch. If the goods are still unopened and the original packaging is undamaged, they can be returned within the deadline with a refund of the purchase price.

Please understand that we can only take back products that are not in perfect condition or are not returned with the complete scope of delivery, have damaged packaging or signs of use, for a processing fee or not at all.

Depending on the condition of the item, a distinction is made between the following procedures:

  1. Unlimited right of return
  2. Conditional right of return
  3. No right of return

Unlimited right of return

A return with full reimbursement of the purchase price is only possible if

  • the original packaging is unopened.
  • the original packaging has not been labeled, glued or otherwise altered (undamaged condition).
  • the item was purchased no more than 14 days ago.

Conditional right of return with processing fee

A return with refund of the purchase price less a processing fee is possible after an individual examination if

  • the original packaging is open but completely undamaged and present.
  • the item is unused and shows no signs of wear.
  • Consumables such as toothpaste, dental floss or cosmetic products (non-exhaustive list) are unopened.
  • all the accessories supplied are present.
  • the item was purchased no more than 14 days ago.

The processing fee is determined individually depending on the type and condition of the product and deducted from the refund.

No right of return

A return and refund of the purchase price is not possible if

  • the original packaging is missing.
  • Accessories missing.
  • Consumables are open
  • hygienic reasons do not permit this for products such as toothbrushes or similar (exception: unopened, in complete original packaging).
  • it concerns items such as vouchers like physical gift cards and electronic online gift vouchers.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

For electronic products, we grant a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. It is up to CAREISTA to decide whether a defective product must be sent in or whether a defect can be sufficiently documented in text and pictures. CAREISTA can remedy defects either by rectifying the defect (repair) or by delivering a replacement.

In the event of a defect, please also contact us by e-mail, contact form or WhatsApp.

RETURN

In the event of a return, please send the product in a well-padded envelope/package, stating the order number and the reason for the return.

The shipping costs for the return shipment are generally borne by the sender.
